This little still life I painted while on a layover in Dubai. It was a 102 degrees outside (in the shade) so what better to do than stay in the beautiful air-conditioned hotel and paint. The ceramic bowl is one of many I've purchased from a fine craftsman, Anthony Rollins.

Lovely painting. I really like the composition and how you have captured the shadow from the asparagus. Great highlight on the ceramic bowl too.
